Updating a tired landscape in Pelham

Pretty tired walkway and VERY overgrown plantings! The customer was pretty tired of the Barberry bushes. The yard had not been graded properly when the home was built so water washed over the walk in places. We also found they didn't have a proper base under the walk. In some places there were two feet of loam directly under the walk and others there were a foot of hardback.

The generator was out in the open with nothing to disguise it. It was also hard to mow and string trim around.

This is a tasteful paver walkway finished in a running bond pattern featuring ruby/onyx pavers bordered by onyx. We replaced the overgrown plantings with a nice variety of plants chosen by our horticultural design team. Notice also the landscape lighting. This was taken within an hour of laying the last paver. We used sod to repair the surrounding turf areas.

This tidies it up and the ornamental grasses we planted around it iwll help it blend as they grow.

  This Midas location recently came under new ownership.  The new owner promptly put in new management.  In the process of updating the waiting area with free Wi-Fi and a Keurig coffee maker and purchasing new equipment the decision was made to add landscaping.  What an excellent choice for this high traffic location.  Follow the two slide shows for the dramatic transformation and be sure to stop in to this Midas location for all your auto service needs.

Update on the Midas job

  After the previous work was completed we went in and did a bit more to add to the store's appearance.  We slice seeded the lawn and put loam down on the area behind the bed in front of the store by the road and seeded it with grass.  We also noticed that the right front corner of the building and the sign on the building was not very visible from the road because of a tree on the neighbors property.  It also had branches on the lines going into the building.  We removed the tree and put a bed in the area below it.  We also repaired all the irrigation.  
  The Mums we planted a few weeks ago are blooming now and the new grass has come in well with all the rain we've had.  It looks much greener.  Really looking forward to seeing it next spring!
